The word out of the desert is that the Cardinals could have a very difficult time choosing between fifth-round draft pick John Skelton and undrafted rookie Max Hall for the team's No. 3 QB job. "I think Hall has a real shot at making the team," said one team insider of the local product, who enjoyed a record-setting career at Brigham Young. "He picks things up real quickly and comes from a sophisticated pass offense, while Skelton has good size and a big gun. (Head coach Ken) Whisenhunt has never kept four QBs."

Just practice quad Skelton if he's more of a project.
