Via the New York Post and the only way a deal to the nets gets done is with a sign and trade which is unlikely unless they get very creative :dontknow: im not sure what to think about him as a piston
....injury prone ...will be 29 by the season ....doesnt always play hard .....will want at least 6 years at max to close to max money ....and only really cares about the money IE when he bolted clevland
I think Dumars takes the risk on him. I think a desperate GM is gonna gamble on a guy that is a legit 20-10. But he is a huge injury risk (and I think he has back issues, I believe), and like you said, is know to have motivation issues, and is a bad investment if he is wanting a max. I think the Pistons have enough in the post to survive a season before CB4 hits the market. Bosh would be a much, much better investment
I was reading this on rotoworld. "the NY Daily News speculates that Boozer could end up in Toronto as part of a deal for Chris Bosh." funny stuff.
That would be terrible IMO the dropoff from Bosh to Boozer and the fact that they are gonna command similar deals is what hecks the NBA, and in particular teams that give players like Boozer max to near max deals
