well, this was a perfect example of a player not being utilized properly by his coaches/scheme. hopefully someone that wants to play a more aggressive, man-style will bring him in and let him do his thing.
to a point but scheme had zero to do with wr's beating him with simple moves. He was allowed to play man most of last season and still failed.
well, in reality, he's probably not as good as people thought he was in oakland and he's not as bad as people thought he was in philly. he's probably somewhere in between but i think he could still help a team greatly if utilized properly. obviously not worth $15 mill though.
I would have thought that the Philly brass would have seen that he couldn't play zone before they signed him to that big contract.
He lost a step. Easy as that. 4 years ago he probably could have made the adjustment but let's be real, he got old. Plain and simple. That said I wish him the best of luck and he was nothing but an awesome guy.
