That's why a lot of seats were empty after halftime. I heared a lot about the atmosphere of this game, but the word "fantastic" was never mentioned :icon_confused:

    Screw you Goodell!!!!

Well I didn't care who the teams were gonna be, I was gonna try and get tickets anyway. I was at last years game aswell and the atmosphere wasn't that great but lets hope it's better this time around and they can get the services etc at Wembley sorted out.

I do agree that it's hard for teams to come to the UK and is unfair on the fans of the teams that are coming over but I'm not gonna complain if I get to see a game over here :icon_cool:

I said it before and I'll say it again and again and again...

Screw Goodell. The worst thing to ever happen to the league. At least with Tags we got preseason games in Mexico, and even one regular season game between crapty teams, but still.

Why is it so important about taking football to England? They only care about soccer, rugby and gay-ass golf!! That game las year was LAME...it was like the stadium was empty... FREAK THEM!!! Remember the game in Mexico City in '05? Now THOSE are fans!! Yeah, the peso is nothing compared to the pound, but you can't put a price on caring fans who actually UNDERSTAND THE GAME!!!

Nothing personal against my british friends. I know they are awesome and all...but I can't help but feel insulted by Goodell's stuborness. Quick...where were 4 of the top 5 games with the biggest attendance played?

    That's right...Mexico Screwin' City.

That ends my rant. Thank you very much.

They should keep it in the US and continue to develope the NFLE in a better way.

It's always about the money, I'm sure Goodell's dream is to have 16 international games in different cities around the world, 1 played every week, where every team would have to play one, and giving up a home game would be every other year.

I agree Mexico's fans were a lot more into it than England's, but I just hope this doesn't turn out like soccer where they are just forcing it onto England, like how soccer is forced on Americans

Could be worse, it could be like baseball suckering 2 teams to go to Tokyo for 2 season opener games, and have a huge gap in the off day. If Goodell tries to get a game in Japan, then he is more nuts then Al Davis. :laughpound:

Hey trust me, nobody thought MLB would go to Japan, or NBA to China, I don't know what NHL does with their exhibition, but I wouldn't be surprised if Goodell were to schedule a game in the Far East just to earn a 'yen' :rollinglaugh:

I would think he'd want to go to Australia before Japan, and that's even farther away.
