Even though he wasn't great, I think he did play well. He actually threw 2 TD passes, even though the stats will only show one. He was 12 of 20 (should've been 13 of 20), with over 200 yards. Considering that he's still a young QB with average talent around him, he was decent, IMO.
Stop crapting on my parade yes jamarcus did make mistakes but he did enough to win 4th and 15 he got it done sweets. we werent playing the arizona cardinals. I dont care if Arizona was in the super bowl last year.
Raiders defense hung tough until the end when they let two late drives end up with touchdowns. Russell was brutal tonight and the Raiders would have won this game easily if the offense would have been able to generate any offense. Russell kept missing open receivers all night. The Chargers were completely on the ropes and they couldn't capitalize. Oh and as for the TD that wasn't? NFL Rules back up the replay officials: Sorry, Raiders Fans: Rule Book Backs Decision to Overturn Louis Murphy TD -- NFL FanHouse
Actually it was 12 for 30. That should be unacceptable for a starting QB. If your QB isn't accurate you aren't going to win, plain and simple. The last TD was a gift thanks to a horribly blown coverage by Clinton Hart.
no no no Murphy had control with 2 feet in the end zone the ball started moving after he was going down which makes it a touchdown as soon as he crossed the plane that call was bull crap. Its all good i just want to see the same effort agianst the chiefs and broncos in the upcoming weeks. **********Automerged Doublepost********** So what Russell mad the throw after he came back in which makes it even better. The Passes he missed were timing patterns and some iffy routes by the rookie receivers. I see alot of growth from are QB he also made some big time throws i believe in him and he is only going to get better.
Dude....he was sailing passes all night! How many times did he overthrow wide open receivers? I suggest going back, watching the tape and really count how many times his passes were just off. Also, think what you want but the rule clearly states how possession is determined: Sorry, Raiders Fans: Rule Book Backs Reversal of Louis Murphy TD -- NFL FanHouse Deny it however you want, spin it however it suits your needs....but the rule is there and explains the call.
I never said he wasnt i said he played well not great hes improved big time its like day and night ihave faith once schilens comes back that he will get better. He played better than cutler
they are faider fans lol those flags are like chewing gum 2 them lol that wont freshing their breath lol
Like I said we werent playing Arizona. We didnt give up 10+ catches to a runningback for over 100 yards and last i Heard your number 1 pick is third string and the other will rather take less money and join the lions or any other team than play for the sissies across the bay.
Thanx again for bringing it back to the 49ers as usual Pt, see that's what I do like about you, you're predictable. I'm not the one that came into my teams thread and said that my qb played well and then proceeded to try and convince everyone that regardless of what they saw Russell played "well" then finally settling on he played "decent". And then to bring up Crabtree, that's laughable, DHB hands of stone showed up and then he proceeded to drop passes or fall down while running. Our #1 pick is 3rd string and the other would rather take less money and join the lions??? PT, you're ranting again and foaming at the mouth both are not attractive. We played Arizona??? sure we did but don't pretend that you play in the NFC East or any other powerhouse divisions...you're still in the crapty AFC West. As I said earlier, your defense was awesome but you can take that for what it is you need to have me say your qb played well...sorry pal, aint gonna happen not this week anyway.
all i heard last night and again today was what a 'moral victory' this game was for the raiders.... a couple of things. first of all, why was everyone shocked with how competitively the raiders played last night? did anyone see them in the 2nd half of last season? they were VERY competitive late last year. last night was just a continuation of late last season. Secondly, i hate the term 'moral victory'. it doesn't matter if you lose by 3 points or 30. they both count as a loss and some teams know how to win and some teams know how to lose and the Raiders are still trying to figure out how to win and that's the only story line to this game.
Our passing attack is brutal! We can run just fine, but Jamarcus is all over the place! I was actually happy to see Gradkowski in there. I have always believed JRock to be the wrong choice and he has not proven me wrong to this point. Of course I hope he does at some point I just don't see it. The only things worse than Russel last night was Mike and Mike and that overturned TD call.
