Completion percentage ,yards, and QB rating are significant differences.

Do you think Randy Moss and Wes Welker attributed to that?

They can't help much for accuracy...it's catchable or it's not. Sure there are dropped passes but not enough to shift the numbers.

no but a good offensive line can. Thigpen was running for his life, Cassel had the luxury to stand behind a top 10 unit.

The O-line wasn't good but the offense compensated for that but moving almost exclusively to the shotgun and Thigpen was asked to make quick reads. Again, I don't think Thigpen is worthless and I'm not touting Cassel as a HOF QB, I just don't get the love affair with Thigpen...he was ok, that's it. We have no idea what Cassel will do in a similar situation, we'll find out soon enough. Cassel isn't going to have a HOF tight end to lean on like Thigpen did either.

Cassel had a better cast around him but Tyler had Bowe an TG with him 2. Let alone...Thigpen had a Stupid HC, while Cassel had an Future HOFer HC. so..hmm :icon_twisted:

If we're going to release any QB, it should be Croyle....I'm betting he's injured by the end of the first preseason game. :icon_rolleyes:
