    Why is the Hobbit even in the conversation? As a head coach he literally destroyed the Broncos (Thank you!) and is currently the offensive genius behind the 2-11 Rams. Screw, as proven by the success of the Pats post-McDaniels, I'd say his success was more of a function of one Tom Brady and not anything he did. If he's selected as the new HC the Chiefs should launch an investigation into a possible Pioli/McDaniels gay relationship.

    i've noticed a few people say, "the chiefs should have fired him sooner" ............. um, he DID win his division last year, in just his 2nd season as hc........... was THAT the right time to fire him?

    this was absolutely the soonest they could have logically fired him. Any time before this and it would have been too obvious that Pioli just didn't like Haley and wanted him gone.
