on a side note could this incident have saved Pioli's job? Seems wrong to fire him now. Although im sure not going to that building every day could be a good thing for those that witnessed it.

I'm no fan of Crennell or Pioli, but that these two guys have to live the rest of their lives with those images permanently etched in their minds is unimaginable.

No I think this could be the final piece that ends up making Clark Hunt just scrub this team clean and start from scratch.

WTF?!?! That is crazy!!! What a tragedy. IMO, the biggest victim is that their infant child will now grow up without a mother & father. :icon_sad:

They are gonna end up with the number 1 pick in next year's draft, they should take gano smith and build the team around him with an offensive minded coach.gm,hc, just about everybody will be gone after the season ends!

I don't feel sorry for Belcher himself but I do feel that way for the mother of his child along with his kid. How can Crennel be expected to coach today after witnessing such a thing?

edit: I don't like how the headlines are laid out now. How do I get them back to the way they were...

I suppose you're right. I post on the ESPN boards sometimes and yesterday it was sickening to see the kind of tasteless comments that were being written. Can't believe ESPN did not disable comments on that story.

The woman who was killed had a Dallas tie. She grew up in Garland, just east of Dallas. So sad.
