Yes, no matter how hecked KC is this weekend we still have to be sporting enough to let them try :icon_cheesygrin:
It does kind of matter who dude. We've got Bradley, he can make some plays. Obviously DBowe. Charles can hit the flats. But I'm worried that the O line hasn't had enough time to gel for even slants...
Let me just clear this up for everyone so hopefully we can quit talking about this. Thigpen sucks....ok? He was a waiver wire pick up after camp last year by the Chiefs. He only saw the field because every other QB we had got hurt (Croyle, Huard). We completely changed the offense into a shotgun formation because he couldn't take a snap from under center and drop back with any consistency. This gimmick offense was able to score some points and Thigpen got a lot of credit. He started 14 games last year and he won only 1 of those games. Tyler Thigpen would not be better than Cassel in any game. He might be better than Flacco though.....lol.
Thigpen may suck, but he is the best option against the Ravens style defense. The pocket style passer of Cassel and Huard, Croyle or whoever is much worse against the Ravens then Thigpen who can get things done with his legs. The last statement is just ridiculous. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Is it really though? 14tds and 12ints, 60% completion. Not exactly earth shattering numbers. As it pertains to this game, he's even worse at home. 4tds and 7ints with 54% completion at home. Again, what is this fascination with Flacco as a great QB? I just don't see it. The Ravens lost their defensive coordinator, Bart Scott, and Chris McAllister this offseason. Ray Lewis isn't exactly young anymore. Samari Rolle is out. Ed Reed and Suggs are banged up. Is this game really going to be a cakewalk and shutout? No one should be that surprised when it isn't.
