Now this is just funny. We have to post something good about the Ravens to be considered smart? Raven Nation has spoken! All that aside, I've never once said that I think the Chiefs are actually gonna win, just that you shouldn't underestimate the Chiefs defense. No one scored more than 17 points on us in preseason. I'll go with my original prediction. 17-6 Ravens.
Its not JUST that he said something good about the Ravens - we hear so much about Ed, Ray, Terrell and so on that it was just refreshing to see an opponent realize how devestating Haloti Ngata can be. And to be clear I'm not doggin' your franchise, I'm just saying 'rebuilding' doesn't stack up well against 'excelling' - every dog has his day.
Ah yeah, sort of like how no one ever talks about how incredible Flowers is for the Chiefs. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Is Flowers on the same level as Ray, Ed, and Terrell. I highly doubt it. Don't get me wrong he may help the Chiefs out a whole lot , but when talking about Reed, R.Lewis, and T-Sizzle you are talking about 3 of the best defenders in the game.
Well, he was only a rookie last year, so naturally he's not there yet. As far as fellow players that play CB, his stats are up there with some of the top dogs, at least from last year. Season Totals: 66 attempts, 4.83 YPA, 34.85 Forced INC%, 0 TDs, 2 INTs Averaging less than 5 yards per attempt is just plain ridiculous. He needs to work up his forced INC% and could use a few more picks, but YPA is definitely the most important stat for a CB. Not giving up a TD is pretty nice too!
NFL Injury Report for this game: Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens - Kansas City Chiefs: LIMITED: RB Jackie Battle (illness), QB Matt Cassel (knee), CB Brandon Flowers (shoulder).
