As of now I take Cole because he is proven to be a very good player. Long may end up better, but if I know I'm getting a solid player over a ? then you do it. Similar to Min. giving up their 1st for J. Allen.

 

Right now I'd say Trent Cole I want the guarantee thing over the "next big thing"

 

Umm... gimme the guy who has 20 sacks in the NFL over the last two years over any player who hasn't taken a single snap in the NFL.

Could easily change my mind after a couple of years... but I could also take 5 minutes and list off maybe 50 top 10 draft picks over the last ten years who were busts, too.

 

Long has more upside. Cole has more immediate impact. But you never know in this league.

For the sake of playing along though... Long.

 

Cole right now. Who knows after a year or two.
