This is like the first-year post Michael Jordan led Chicago Bulls in 1999.............only worse. Much worse.
Couple things... 7-62 is just freaking pathetic. Even worse than the Browns 3-6 win And flex scheduling needs to be implemented starting at week 5. I didn't watch a single snap of this horsecrap.
Jesus Christ. 62 in an NFL game? I like the idea of the flex thing. Maybe flex the Colts to the NCAA and flex LSU or Bama up to the NFL. Would that work?
Lol, Steve. Colts are horrible this year. Amazing how the loss of Peyton Manning makes THAT much of a difference. 0-7? Jeez. I know QB is the brain of the entire team, but My God. These men are NFL players, and they suck it up that bad? What's the excuse for the Colts defense giving up 9 scores on .. 9 possessions? I was in shock watching this game.
could you make the pic just a little bit bigger? Just didn't like Brees package that close to my face while scrolling down.
I don't think it is that surprising that Indy's defense is taking some hits. They have never really had that great of a defense (maybe with the exception of their 2006 Super Bowl run when they played out of their minds in the playoffs) but all they've ever had to do is rush the passer with leads that Manning has helped earn for them. The Colts defense has never been well enough to consistently win games on their own week after week and that just isn't the way the team has been built. So yeah, take away all the punch on offense and put a greater burden on a defense not built to handle that increased load and yes, at some point the entire thing is just going to fall apart.
