Louisiana senate is due to debate a proposed bill that could ultimately have some affect on the New Orleans Saints in the near future. The bill, which could be addressed as early as today, would look to reduce the amount of worker’s compensation that Saints players would receive were they to suffer an injury before or after the regular season. House Bill 1069 is making its way through the Louisiana legislature, and if passed, could become a key ingredient used by rival teams to negative recruit potential free agents from considering signing on with the Saints.
