Cowboys Fire Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan

personally, i think cowboys fans should be rejoicing.

rob ryan is not a horrible d.c. but he's not a fantastic d.c. either. he's middle of the road. if they can get their defense performing like it was back in wade philips' first few years, they will be back in the playoffs.

 

cowboys D has been worse since they brought him on,and now they are also gonna switch skemes too!

i agree with diesel ...... this defense has just been treading water/average at best since their good years in 2007, '08, and '09.

this defense IS holding them back from being a winning team and rob ryan has never shown to be able to coordinate a good defense......... his defenses are always 'eh' .........

like i said, cowboys fans should be happy about this IF they get a good coordinator ........... now, if they hire someone like frank bush, then go ahead and be pissed but it should be fairly easy for them to upgrade this position.

 

My main question is now how are they going to fill the 20 minutes of air time in every televised cowboys game usually filled by Rob Ryan?

Thats the REAL reason Ryan was fired. He got more air time then Jerry. And we all know Jerry doesn't like to share the lime light.

 

Ryan is a big stupid idiot.

But I'm glad he isn't DC in Dallas anymore. Good move, Jerrah.
