    Forget Cowher. He'll want too much control over personnel decisions for Jerry's taste. Gruden maybe after the lockout.

    I heard Jerry's news conference. If it doesn't get mentioned, Jason is the interim head coach AND offensive coordinator, while Paul Pasqualoni is the new defensive coordinator.

    Why would a fan of ANY NFL team want Gurden to take over? Much less the volatile Cowboys locker room with Gruden banging heads with Jerrah on a daily basis. .

    I figure if Gruden can work for Al Davis for 3 years, Gruden can work for anybody. BTW, Davis is Jerry's idol.

    Good move by giving Phillips the pink slip......not so much by letting their registry expire on their official website on the day they fired Phillips. They lost a lot of traffic.

    Maybe they should go to Craigslist and search for a new HC. Just a thought. Or, they can run a reality TV Show. "Who Wants To Be The Next Fired Cowboys Coach?"

    Cowboys next move should be placing Tony Romo on injured reserve.

    Jerry Jones should just name himself head coach. He has his hands in everything already, that's why Dallas will continue to be a mediocre team at best.

    Not a surprise he was fired...I just thought Jones might wait till the season was over...not like the Cowboys are gonna make the playoffs now anyway.
