Fact: players taken before and after him will fizzle and fade into nothing. If he ends up being a very good player, it was a good use of a late first rounder.
i had a first round grade on him. He came into the combine much lighter and weaker than expected but i imagine he didnt want to be the 340 pound mauling animal he used to be and get into better shape. He was talked about as the best guard before he moved to center to replace konz. Hes not as athetic as konz and zeitler but hes every bit as good as a player. Dont love him at center, he lacks that explosion. But when he gets a hand on you you are done I think pugh and Long are good players, but frederick is a beast in his own right...it was a good pick. i hope he plays guard though that all being said....i thought elam was a slam dunk, and the ravens didnt waste any time on that one
Elam really isn't a Cover 2 guy. In fact if they went Safety, they probobly would have picked Cyprien over Elam Sent from my HTC Vivid
elam is a do-it-all-bad-boy safety...how dare you say otherwise. actually no i hate him now so nevermind
All homer boards are like that. The Niners board was out of hand the last two previous years with Harbaalke running the draft and not giving 2 craps about who is "supposed" to go at their given pick. The Aldon pick got crap on so hard and Jenkins was even worse. I imagine its more of the same for Reid but I can't stand to go there anymore, since the team got good it's just overrun with bandwagon homers that don't actually know a freaking thing about football.
Has anyone seen this guy? Is it just me, or does look like a member of Duck Dynasty? Hey, Diesel! Your favorite owner, Little Danny Snyder has made some great moves in the past. Like Albert Haynesworth. How did that move work out for you?
