Romo is a good QB. Question is what is the plan to surround him with enough talent so they can get back to postseason success

Problem is Romo is not a leader of men.

Good point. The question is whether JJ will do the right thing and get some OL to protect him. When it comes to the draft, JJ has not been known to always do the right thing.

He IS a leader of big boobed women, though, and for that i respect him

Worth noting that out of the predraft visits schedule at this point we have 8 top 60 prospects already listed. Out of those 8, 3 are OL (Warmack, Fluker, Armstead) 3 are Safeties ( Vaccaro, Cyprien, Reid)

Granted were aren't even half done with the list of visits, but it looks like they are looking hard at OL and Safety early

I just don't trust JJ when it comes to the draft, Joe, because it seems that he prefers flash over substance. Do you know if they plan to look at Austin, the WR from WV?

On The Fan this morning, Mike Fisher gave a list of FAs who are going to visit Valley Ranch. They are:

    Safety-Cprien, Reid, Vaccaro.

    LBs-Hodges and Porter.

    DL-Logan, Hill, Richardson.

    OL-Cooper, Frederick, Pugh, Warmack.

    RBs-Bell, Davis, Randle.

I don't believe that any of those young men are free agents.

    I meant rookies. My bad.

I think the same could be said for Cam Newton.

Another rookie who came by Valley Ranch yesterday was Kyle Long, an OT from the University of Oregon. He's Howie Long's son. A black mark against Kyle is that he was picked up for a DUI in January of 2009. Given what's happened to the Cowboys lately with DUIs, they might want to think long and hard about drafting him.
