Don't blame me for not coming into a Cowboys gamefdsy thread. I know a bad football teamd when i see it and this Cowboys team is bad and no better than lat years team. I'm here telling the truth that some of you Cowboys fans don't wanna hear while still thinking that this is a playoff team.d
1. Great win by the Eagles. They deserved to win. 2. To The Sith: For criticizing Romo last night, he doesn't play defense. He threw one pick last night. That's all. 3. This is the worse loss since last year's loss to the Packers, 45-7. Remember that one? That loss was Wade Phillips' last game as HC. 4. I've never said that the Cowboys were a playoff team this year. I said that they would be lucky to finish 8-8. 5. I said that 11-5 would win this division. I said it when the Eagles were 1-3. That means they would have to be 10-2 the rest of the season. Someone, either Crowned or Ward. said it wouldn't happen. It doesn't appear so far-fetched now, does it?
nah, you guys have known me long enough to know i wouldn't say something as a hater ..... i have no allegiances. the reason i said what i said was because IF the Eagles were ever going to get their crap together, this game was going to be a good spring-board to do it from (home game versus a quality rival on national t.v.). It's just 1 game in October so we shouldn't read TOO much into it, other than the fact that it tells us what we already thought (the Eagles are better than their 2-4 record indicated) but it's just 1 game so it doesn't mean the Cowboys are going to lose 10 games in a row. I think the Cowboys and Eagles both will be in the mix for a playoff spot as we head towards January.
Yes Well, I dont know if mediocre is dead on per say. The Eagles are one player away from being a very strong (fortifiy the middle of that D somewhere, particulalry the back end including ILB) from being a possible 12 win team. And the Giants are a team capale of catching fire Despite my thoughts (and we say how much worth that is, right) it isnt unreasononable to think you guys could be playing in Febuary, atho alot has to do with the mediocrity of the NFC Even Dallas is a decent team. We should still be in the hunt for a WC, altho that Lions loss is really gonna haunt us.
Seems far fetched when the Packers, Saints, Patroits, and Jets are on the schedule. Not to mention another round of division games
maybe average is better. it's just not as strong as it was a couple of years go but certainly isnt as weak as it was in the past.
dident expect the cowboys to get raped like that by the eagles i was a nice birthday gift for me i was drunk for it to lol. this is what the eagles should have looked like since game 1
We dont play the packers or the saints rest of the schedule bears cards giants pats seahawks dolphins jets dallas washington I could definitly see us only losing 2 of these now that were gelling
Well, I hope you enjoy your celebration over your blowout victory of two nights ago. In the meantime, here's something for you to think about. The Eagles had 2 weeks to prepare for the Cowboys. The team you're playing in six days, the Chicago Bears, has had 2 weeks to prepare for the Eagles. Think about that. Just saying.
Isn't that the truth? Everything is negative, negative, negative. He's probably unhappy that Murray didn't get 300 yards against the Rams instead of being happy about the 250 yards that Murray did get.
1. If the Eagles keep playing like they played Sunday night, I don't think there's a team that can beat them. 2. This is to Sith. Sunday night's loss IS NOT on Romo. This defeat rests solely on the defense, who couldn't stop the Eagles offense from moving up and down the field.
another little stat to toss out there. while the eagles are 13-0 under reid after the bye they are only 6-5 the following week. note the eagles had the bye the 16th week of the season in 99 and beat the rams to end the regular season so there is no stat for after the bye from that year.
