NFL Network just stated... 1 day after being franchised, Dallas clark has signed a 6 yr deal.
So can they remove the "franchise" tag and place it on someone else now?
I've always thought each team can only tag one player per year. I don't think they can tag someone else afterwards no matte what happens. I'm not positive though.
Sounds right Dawk....I'm just trying to figure out why or how they signed him this quick after naming him the franchise player.....seems like a waist of the tag to me.
I guess they wanted to scare other teams off.
that is a good sign for them he is an amazing te
amazing? i don't want to argue semantics here, he's definitely in the plus column but i never thought of him on the same plane as gates/witten/winslow jr. maybe it's just my perception but isn't he kind of old for a 6-year deal?
Dallas clark is a great tight end. He helped me alot in fantasy very solid guy.
