i stopped watching this game at the end of the 3rd quarter. that was a clinic on both sides of the ball by the saints. that was one of the more lopsided games i've seen in a while. the cowboys didn't even look like they were in the same league with the saints.
this was the right call. period. huff would have been counter productive in every imaginable way. not to mention, Heath isn't the one they're primarily concerned with developing. although, for some strange reason they're high on him. guy needs to learn how to freaking tackle or get off the field though. this is what had me most pissed. we just mailed it in, didn't care. i'm so done with jason garrett as a head coach and it's unfortunate because i love the guy as a talent evaluator, and there's just no way we can keep him in that role.
I think that we need a new OC with some imagination. Why does this team run the same plays over and over and expect a different result? Put Dez in the slot every once in a while. Give the opposing defense something new to think about. I wonder if the Cowboys need a new training staff. This team has more hamstring injuries than any NFL team I've ever seen. Austin and Claiborne were already out with them. Last night, Lee and Durant went out with them. There has to be something to this.
Tim Cowlishaw, columnist of The Dallas Morning News, said in his column today, that last night's loss wasn't just a loss. 'This was more like an across-the-board indictment of an organization." That about sums it up.
The Cowboys are like our little brothers now. When you are feeling down and out, troubles on your mind, you can always go home and BEAT THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF YOUR LITTLE BROTHER. I hope this can carry over to the next few games. 49ers next sunday, a bye week against Atlanta the week after and then Seattle. Win those games and home field advantage.
