As part of a continued effort to revitalize a pass defense that ranked in the bottom third of the league in pass defense in three of the last four seasons, the Jacksonville Jaguars have released veteran safety Dawan Landry, according to NFL.com. Landry, a seven-year veteran, had a cap figure of $3.9 million for 2013 before Friday's move. Landry, 30, had started 32 consecutive games in Jacksonville after signing a five-year contract with the Jaguars in 2011. Last season, Landry finished third on the team in total tackles with 100.
