The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins have been selected to play in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 4 in Canton, Ohio, giving each team an extra preseason game.

The Cowboys will be on hand to see former offensive lineman Larry Allen and coach Bill Parcells be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Parcells also served as the president of the Dolphins.

The Cowboys last played in the game three years ago. Miami was involved in the game in 2005. If rules remain unchanged, this means Dallas and Miami will be able to open training camp about a week earlier than most other clubs.
