As expected, the Dolphins have put guard/center Cory Procter on injured reserve with the left knee injury he suffered on the second series of Thursday's loss to Chicago. Procter got his first start of the season Thursday as substitute for injured starting center Joe Berger. After the game, he said he was running out to block a linebacker on a short pass when he felt his knee go. He said he'd had medial collateral ligament problems before, but this injury was the worst he'd ever felt. Source: Miami Herald
