The Miami Dolphins have re-signed starting free safety Chris Clemons to a one-year deal, according to league sources.

Clemons, the team's 2009 fifth-round pick, started 32 games in the four season he played for the Dolphins.

The former Clemson standout had his most productive season as a starting free agent in 2012, contributing 98 tackles and two interceptions in his first year being paired with strong safety Reshad Jones.

Clemons becomes the fourth Dolphins player the team has re-signed this offseason. Receiver Brian Hartline and backup quarterback Matt Moore re-signed last week, and defensive tackle Randy Starks had the franchise tag placed on him.
