Dolphins To Set The Market For Saints RB Reggie Bush?

Discussion in 'Miami Dolphins' started by BigBlueBruiser, Jul 13, 2011.

  1. Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that the Dolphins will pursue running back Reggie Bush after the Saints release him. "From what I'm gathering, the Miami Dolphins might actually set the market for Reggie Bush," La Canfora reported on Total Access. La Canfora also mentioned the Eagles and Rams as teams likely to have interest, but he was the most adamant about Miami. The addition of Bush would bode well for rookie Daniel Thomas, who would likely still dominate carries in that scenario. Bush would handle third downs and probably return punts.

Reggie Bush would pretty much be going to a new team only to play the same role if he ends up in Miami. Well, at least he wouldn't be able to criticize his injuries on the home's fake turf....even though three of his six big injures happened on the road on grass fields. The man is fraile, so buyer beware IMO.

I don't see it either. Rams are an interesting thought though if you ignore the stupid turf bullcrap.

if he wants to stay a saint then he will be a saint....if he wants to go to a team with no QB to open the run for him, he'll be missing new orleans by week two with all those stacked boxes

Not to mention he'll be on IR by week 8.
