University of Miami cornerback Bruce Johnson has been scheduled for a private workout with the Miami Dolphins on Friday, according to a league source. Johnson ran a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash at his campus Pro Day workout after clocking a 4.49 at the NFL Scouting Combine. At his Pro Day, Johnson registered a 38 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 10-4 broad jump. I was in my comfort zone, Johnson told Cane Sport following his Pro Day. I turned some heads.
