i would put stephen hill above jeffry as the #5 WR. other than that, can't argue with the lists much.

  3. not a fan of Hill at all. He has size and speed but what else?

  4. CaptainStubing

CaptainStubing Gave her a Dirty Sanchez

he's an amazing blocker, has a constant motor, and knows what to do with the ball after he gets it.

his weaknesses are route-running and hands, which he would need to work on quite a bit to become elite, but both are coachable.

  5. so you would have to coach him how to do everything but run?

  6. CaptainStubing

yes, that's what i said adam.

i don't know how Osweiler is not a top 5 qb in this draft. That is the only thing I argue.

  8. that's essentially what you're saying.

  9. he was hard to leave out. Just too many questions though.

sure adam. the fact that i said he has natural size and speed, is amazing with the ball in his hands, plays unselfishly, is an accomplished blocker, and his motor is constantly running says that the only thing this guy has going for him in the future is his speed.

    are you purposely being obtuse?

  11. speed we already discussed.

Size has nothing to do with how he plays on the field.

amazing with the ball in his hands is down to speed.

Plays unselfishly- that doesn't set him apart from anyone else. Many players are unselfish. It doesn't mean I would make them a 1st round pick.

accomplished blocker- that's great. Blocking for a WR is nice but isn't that important. As long as you have a guy on the outside who puts in some effort and is an adequate blocker it doesn't matter.

motor constantly running- How did you determine this? The guy barely got the ball.

2 most important skills at WR- Hands and route running. He has neither.

since when is size NOT important in the nfl? where are you coming up with this stuff?

amazing with the ball in his hands is not just speed. some of the fastest guys in the league can only get y.a.c. if they have a completely open field. this guy fights off tackles and squeezes every yard once he gets the ball. you know this stuff adam.

playing unselfishly DOES set him apart from many elite athletes. many of these kids will not be drafted as high as their athletic ability indicates because of questionable character.

a WR who is willing and able to block in the nfl is more rare than you are admitting. it IS a trait some teams look for.

his coaches, teammates, and the media who covered the guy in college all say he works his butt off. that's where i get my info on his motor.

and to say he has 'no' route-running or catching ability is not accurate obviously. he has route running and catching abilities, he just needs to work on them if he wants to be elite in the nfl.

once again, i'm not sure why you're being purposely obtuse on this topic.

I think Osweiler is the 4th QB in this draft.

  14. Do you have a reading problem? I didn't say size wasn't important. I said that size doesn't mean much unless he uses it well on the field. I could make a list with tons of names of guys that have produced without great size.

I know it's not just speed but once again YAC can only take you so far. Yeah great he is good with the ball in his hands. Doesn't do much good if he can't catch or run routes. He won't see the ball.

I couldn't disagree more. You're saying that most athletes are selfish which is just absolute drivel. There are a small number of Janoris Jenkins type guys out there.

yeah they may look for a guy that blocks well enough but if you think a guy blocking is going to make up for other deficiencies that's a joke.

for his draft position he is well below the other players around him.

Hey, I live 10 minutes from the ASU campus and think that all the press Osweiler is getting is great, but 4th best? Really? Just curious how you came to this opinion when he finished 37th in the nation for passing efficiency. I don't even think he's even the best Div. I QB in the state.

He has the best upside in my opinion. After Luck, Griffin and Tannehill it is up in the air.
