Eagles, Donovan McNabb Agree On A Reworked Contract

That may be part of it, but I'm thinking that it's more a matter of years that they couldn't agree on. McNabb knows he will probably get only one more big contract or extension before he retires and they weren't offering it. If he has a big year next season, he probably figures that they will offer him more in years and dollars, or he can just play out his contract and get one then from the Eagles or elsewhere.

 

It would be depressing to lose mcnabb the same way we lost dawkins. It would hurt even more because its not easy finding a replacement QB like it is safety but for right now im happy that hes happy and we still have 2 years of super 5.
