your crazy if you think your front 4 get good pressure. You have an undersized line. If the eagles arent blitzing they aint sacking.

I insinuated that he simply carved up your secondary and even shruged off your blitzes. He was back there all day doing his thing to Colsten and plenty other recievers as well. Take the blinders off.

 

that's why 5.5 of our 7 sacks are from the DL, those are all from blitzes, even though 3.5 of our 5 sacks against Carolina came from the Dline when we did little blitzing at all.

and 34.5 of our 48 sacks came from our DL last, but all of those came from blitzes. Your the one with blinders, blinders of hate. lol

Im not saying that all of those sacks from our DL came from non blitz situations, but your crazy to think that they all did and our DL generates no pressure.

our undersized Dline has done very well for itself.

 

you do realize then when you blitz it often frees up your Dline right, you cant just count sacks from dline and lbers and assume the dlinemen did it without blitzing but you can assume LBers on blitzes.

 

cubz, you are aware that 6 blitzes is not a lot in a game for the eagles right ? again, the biggest issue was scheme and not an issue with bigger wideouts. when we did blitz brees we actualy got a couple shots in on him.

so to make it clear to you & the WIP sheep eagles fans you know, we didnt get enough pressure on brees and the fact that we didn't blitz more was without a doubt part of the issue on defense.

oh and it's ironic that you used the term "blinders" because you letting yours dictate your opinion as your bias comes through blantantly clear in your posts as you keep trying to make it seem like we got carved up by the lions as opposed to a qb and offense that is sickening good.

Giants season tooka huge hit when plaxico went out, thats a season where the passing blaybook was centered around a reciever they tried to fill with Hixon. plaxico not being there really contributed to the Eagles "undersized" Dline stopping Big Boy Jacobs on 3rd and 4th and short last year in the clutch at home in the playoffs.

I'll reiterate what I posted before your ignorant comment, ignorant because you obviously ignored what I said.

 

8-9 guys in a box stops a running game period. and the giants did themselves no favor by putting themselves into pass situations where pretty much everyone in the stadium knew what plays the Giants would run. This isn't last year we are talking about the 09-2010 season.

 

but our DL was undersized. your big bad oline should have been able to open even a slight crease to gain the yardage necessary. once plax was gone, that team went to a running team. that was their strength. they didn't force hixon into a bad spot, they played to their strengths, which came up short in the end.

An eagles fan saying the Giants choked is great. I mean how many times have the eagles freaking choked in the post season including against the Cards. The Giants were a different team without Burress everyone and their mother knows that. You dont just go changing your offensive playbook 12-13 games into the season.

If we go by your notion, the Eagles will choke away another post season. Only team in the NFC with no ring.

 

first sign of argument lost is to go after BS that has nothing to do with the argument.

The Eagles didn't choke last year as they were a wildcard team that had won 2 games on the road and lost to the team that was ranked higher at their stadium. Giants had a week off and time to prepare for a playoff matchup being played at their stadium. That's a choke.
