How badly did the Eagles want to get rid of McNabb that they end up trading him to a division rival?

 

I don't like the move, but let me ask you, you think using Campbell over McNABB is better?

ESPNEWS has got some great coverage right now....they had Adam Schefter on, then Sal Paolantonio who painted a picture of what was going on behind the scenes in the last days before the trade. The Raiders and Bills were pushing hard for a trade but Reid didn't want to send McNabb to the Raiders at all. McNabb didn't want to go to either team.

An intradivisional trade is always big news. An intradivisional trade of a top 5 QB from a team with one of the most rabid fanbases in the league is just ridiculous. If McNabb comes into the Linc and shreds this D like I expect he will then this fan base will turn on the team like never before. This F.O. sure has a HELL of alot riding on Kevin Kolb
