Truly rich that a Cowboys fan has the nerve to talk about another team 'clinging' to anything. Those rings are the reason the Cowboys have half of the fan base they do. And any fan that uses those rings as a fallback for a loss or a bad season is arguably the most pathetic excuse for a fan in all of sports. I, not once, have seen or heard a Steelers fan, 49ers fan, or Packers fan EVER pull out the history card. It only seems to be the Cowboys fans.

Yes if it was not for those SB WINS we would be just like the eagles. Do you think that the Steelers, 49ers or Packers would have as many fans if they had not won a SB or two?

It is not the history card it is the trump card. While it has been over done it is better than the "for the better part of a decade we were the best team in the division, going to 5 NFC Championships and one SB" The eagles are to the Bills like the Bills are to a winning franchise.
