Sheamus began running down Goldust after but Dust attacked him from behind and they scuffled briefly. There was an Abraham Washington segment. The guest was Shelton Benjamin. They aired a promo with Tommy Dreamer saying he was going to win the ECW title back tonight in his match and in front of his people. They showed ECW champion Christian Cage walking backstage carrying a car door in preparation for his Extreme Rules bout. Dreamer pushed out a hot dog cart with weapons. Cage had his car door. Lots of plunder early. Christian was tossed into the crowd. He hit a dropkick off the rail into a trash can Dreamer was bringing to hit him with. Cage went for a tornado DDT but Dreamer reversed it, sending Cage down onto two trash cans. Dreamer tied Christian to the tree of woe and put a can over his face, then smashed it with a crutch. Cage went to ram Dreamer with the car door but Dreamer punched him. Dreamer went for a piledriver on the car door but Cage reversed into the Killswitch and scored the pin

In the Battle Royal, Zack Ryder defeated Shelton Benjamin, Vladimir Kozlov, Ezekiel Jackson, Tommy Dreamer, Goldust, Tyler Reks, Sheamus, Yoshi Tatsu and Paul Burchill to become the new number one contender to the ECW Title
Air Date: 9/22/09 - Bank Of Oklahoma Center - Tulsa, Oklahoma The show opens with The Abraham Washington Show. Sheamus is Abe's guest and Shelton Benjamin comes out midway into the segment to have words with Sheamus. After some back and forth between Sheamus and Shelton, Shelton eventually steps up to Sheamus, but when Tony Atlas interrupts them, Sheamus sucker attacks Shelton, the two brawl, and security eventually has to come down to break them up. Yoshi Tatsu then defeated Paul Burchill with a roundhouse kick in the corner followed by a pin fall. A recap is shown of how Zack Ryder came to be the number one contender to the ECW Title. Ryder is then interviewed backstage and he cuts a promo claiming he is going to win the ECW Title tonight. Katie Lea and Paul Burchill are then interviewed backstage by Gregory Helms, who asks Katie several questions. Burchill then attacks Helms and tells him he is not done with him. Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson then defeated Brandon Young and Dustin Brady when Ezekiel Jackson hit the uranage on Brady for the pin fall. After a commercial break, Jackson, Kozlov and Regal run into Goldust. Regal tells Goldust that they have a match against each other on Superstars this week, and that just like the ECW Title match tonight, it's gonna be a joke, as Regal is the only one with enough prestige to be ECW Champion. Christian then defeats Zack Ryder for the ECW Championship after hitting the Killswitch for the pin fall. After the match, Regal came out and told him that since Ryder lost the match, the slot is now open for a new number one contender and that it will be him. Christian punches Regal in the face, who retreats to the floor, as the show goes oft the air.

Dolph Ziggler comes out and they have a staredown Backstage, Zach Ryder complains to William Regal about the change of the match tonight Paul Burchill vs. Shelton Benjamin - Before the match, Sheamus attacked Benjamin before the bell. After the attack, the referee asked Shelton if he wanted to go on with the match, and Shelton said yes. Burchill dominated most of the match, then out of nowehere, Shelton hit The Paydirt on Burchill and got the win They announced Christian would team with Goldust, Yoshi Tatsu and Tommy Dreamer so it's an 8 man tag Team Christian defeated Team Regal when Yoshi Tatsu pinned William Regal

Tiffany says no, but William Regal and his goons come in and back up Jericho. Jericho talks up Regal with the idea of using Jackson & Kozlov. Abe says she received criticism since ECW had no part in Bragging Rights. She disagrees and says ECW played a big part, since its where guys like Morrison and Kofi got their big break. She guarantees that next year ECW will have an even bigger impact at Bragging Rights. Abe asks her about Sheamus going to Raw, she said she doesn't want anyone on ECW that doesn't want to be there, but he will have one last match tonight against Shelton. Last question, Abe asks her how her arm is doing. As she begins to respond, William Regal and The Roundtable appear. Regal asks her for another title shot and she tells him he's not getting one. He says he's losing his patience and wants another shot, she says he may never get one. She leaves and he flips out, starts screaming and destroys the Abe set Backstage, Savannah interviews Shelton and asks him about his match with Sheamus tonight. He says Sheamus is a coward since he always attacks him from behind and that he'll take care of him tonight Sheamus defeated Shelton Benjamin Backstage, Rosa Mendes is talking to Gregory Helms about how she's excited to be on ECW. Paul Burchill and Katie Lea interrupt, Katie tells Rosa to leave. Paul tells Helms that he has a proposition for the Hurricane, to meet him in the ring next week. He and Katie walk off, with Helms saying he'll be there Savannah interviews Christian about his match with Yoshi tonight. Christian says that Yoshi has actually earned his title shot, unlike William Regal. He says Yoshi will be a champion one day, but not tonight. They read poems to each other and apparently started making out on the couch. End of segment. Backstage, Regal is talking to Ezekiel about his actions last week and how he needs to get his head in the game because tonight he's tagging with Kozlov against Christian and Shelton Benjamin. Goldust beats William Regal after a rollup after Ezekiel and Kozlov getting a scruff outside of the ring costing Regal the match. Backstage, ECW GM Tiffany is talking to Paul Burchill about how he can't get back on ECW because of the loss against Hurricane a couple weeks back. Burchill storms out and gets passed by Trent Boretta and C. Croft and they talk to Tiffany about their upcoming match. Trent Boretta and C. Croft beat Bobby Shields and Tyler Hilton in a pretty boring match. Seems as though Boretta and Croft are heels.
