Eli Manning runs backwards a gives up a safety on intentional grounding. Manning should have manned up and just taken the hit on that one.
that was stupid of the falcons to not kick the field goal on 4th down. their defense bailed smith out though with the safety. not shocking that this game's first points are scored by the defense.
smith's brains are finally working. he's punting on this 4th and short. this is obviously right now a defensive, field position game.
i don't agree with going for it. jacobs managed to eek it out but it was not worth the risk of getting nothing from that drive.
you would not be saying that if the falcon who was in the backfield had gotten a better angle on jacobs. regardless, i can't see the falcons playing better than they have in this game and they're down by 5 .............. i don't see this turning out well for the falcons. they're going to start getting frustrated.
It's about time the Jacobs battering ram showed up on 4 th and short on that TD drive. The giants need to do something about stopping Abraham. Guy is getting pressure at his own will.
I agreed with the decision..........whether we made it or not. It was just a 2-0 game at that point. Like Parcells said, you have to have balls to win.
That punt didn't work out like the falcons hoped for. Lol. Must have went 10 yards in the giants favor after it hit the turf
there are many situations i agree with being aggressive. for instance, last night, i agreed with payton going for it time and time again on 4th down. but that was a completely different game. it depends on each situation. in this situation, 3 points would have had just as much effect on the falcons frustration as 7 but zero points would have backfired. Too much risk for too little reward since 3 points would have had the same effect of deflating the falcons. just too risky in that situation.
