The Giants kept three undrafted rookies: fullback Henry Hynoski and linebackers Spencer Paysinger and Mark Herzlich. The latter two are among four rookie linebackers on the Giants’ roster, joining sixth-round picks Greg Jones and Jacquain Williams. All four impressed on special teams, although coach Tom Coughlin praised Jones’ work on defense, too. Jones is now the Giants’ No. 2 middle linebacker. “They continue to get better,†Coughlin said. “I didn’t like, to be quite honest, their response to the Jet thing (their play in a 17-3 loss to the Jets). Hynoski will be the full-time starting FB with Bear Pascore moving back to TE after the release of Daniel Coats.
