Richard Justice of the Houston Chronicle passes along word that free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha "doesn't want any part" of the Texans. Justice doesn't pass along any specifics, but it's widely believed that Asomugha's top priorities include playing for a contender. The Texans have that potential, but they're certainly not there yet. Owner Bob McNair isn't expected to seriously pursue Asomugha because of his hefty price tag. He is expected to wind up in the NFC East playing for the Cowboys, Eagles or Redskins. He'd look good in New England but I dont see them paying for him. I think any team he's on is a contender as long as it's not named the Raiders.
As long as Al Davis is the owner their record doesn't matter. I'd rather be on any other team in the entire league.
wade can coach defense. not much of a head coach but a good defensive cordinator. Texans have some talent on defense and if wade can coach up the defense they may contend.
