Maybe i am being a little cause he was a eagle for so long but if you take those 2 names away and just look at the stat lines right there most people would pick mcnabbs.

"Obviously it didn't work out well for them. It's unfortunate. I wish things would have worked out, but it didn't. We will see what happens from now on."

Translated: I'm happier than crap the Bears tanked.

    lol yup

even though i think mcnabb is hof material i do think he needs to come to the realization that his career is over. Even if he did go to the bears i dont think they would even win to many of the games towards the end. I mean come on how can you not win with AP as your RB and there were some decent receivers on that team. The days of mcnabb being successful with crap receivers like pinkson and fred ex are over.

Not a hall of Famer IMO.

If there is a category in the HOF for players that led by example of continually being crap on by teammates, GM's, owners and waitresses and never defending oneself, McNabb is a unanimous first ballot HOF'er.

Didn't 5 say he was glad nobody picked him up off Waivers so he could go to the team he wanted to go to? I guess the feeling wasn't mutual with those teams 5. Sounds like he needs some more chunky soup and a shoulder to cry on.

he never ever had a season where they eagles threw 70% of the time.

I honestly don't think there will be much of any interest in the guy as a starter or a backup next year.

To me, there's just one logical place for him to go in the NFL and that's to be the backup QB in Philly. While it makes sense for both the Eagles and McNabb, McNabb's ego probably wouldn't be able to handle being an NFL backup -- especially for the Eagles.

There is no freaking way that Bledsoe should be a HOFer over McNabb. Bledsoe had a decent career and all, but he was way too erratic

McNabb to me is on the outside looking in. Very nice career, but he is in the class of guys like Kosar and Ken Anderson

You are rarely ever going to see more then 4 QB's from one era go in and Brady and Manning are 1st ballot locks, Bree's is about a lock and a couple more years from being a 1st ballot guy, and Warner will probobly get in

Is Brees really a lock? He's had a few good years at New Orleans but he wasn't at all good in San Diego. This isn't really the place to argue any of that though.

Bree's has been a top 5 QB since he went to NOLA in 2006 and really only had one bad year in San Diego

True dat. I guess I forget how long he's been in New Orleans.

Plus that shiny ring helps not saying everyone that had one should be HOF but it helps

Please refer to post No.1 in this thread. Nothing more need be said. As far as the HOF, McNabb will be inducted in the same year that pigs learn to fly!

Not only that but he will get MAJOR PROPS for his work in the community that has nothing to do with his play on the field, but he's been so good in the community and gotten so much credit for helping revive the city of New Orleans that the voters can't help but take that into consideration. It'll be bonus points for him...

Yeah, it was a little harsh. Let me call Rush Limbaugh and get his insight on McNabb.
