I think the point being made is if you don't resign him to an extension you and all Cowboy fans may wish there wasn't a next year because he'll revert to tearing that locker room and team apart from the inside out if he feels he's being disrespected. And believe me, playing in the last year of his deal will give him motivation to stick it to anyone he can think of.
here's a funny video.... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRcy7kWfrC4"]YouTube - OFFICIAL Coors Commercial - Press Conference w Terrell Owens[/ame]
Look, no matter how we may think of Owens, that is a real genuine human being right now. He's sick of the obvious, and I don't blame him. I don't like the obvious right now in Packers/Pats. I'd like to hope the Packers will win, but I think New England has the whole thing in the bag. It used to be that we had games nobody could predict. but the NFL is as obvious as an event on the WWE, that's how sad it's become now in the NFL. T Owens has a right to defend ROmo, you think the writers of dallas are going to cut him some slack? This is the same group that got on Romo for losing the Seattle game.
you're right, the media didn't cut romo any slack on the seattle loss last year. i mean they made it out like he botched the snap on the winning field goal attempt or something. sheesh.
I think he has two great years left and then maybe 2-3 years of good football left in him. The way he treats his body and his regimen for rehab, he could play until he is 40. But it seems that his age is starting to show as he gets hurt easier than he used to.
