The Giants may be the most talented 9-7 team ever..........the Packers came out flat and it showed. Rodgers hadn't played in three weeks and his receivers didn't do him any favors with those dropped passes and fumbles.
This is the play of the playoffs thus far............ [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRVAHd-dyfY]Eli Manning To Hakeem Nicks 47 yard Hailmary To End The Half vs Packers 2012 Divisional Playoffs - YouTube[/ame]
um, no. there were about 12 plays at the end of the niners/saints game that were better than that one. i'm sure that is the play of the year for giants fans. in reality, though, that was actually a lame play. no rush on eli from the packers ........... half-ass effort from the packers in the end zone ............
eh, it's all about who is playing best in january ........... that's why it's so important just to get into the playoffs because teams can get hot at just the right time.
Thats still a tough catch to make..............the Giants were content taken a 3 point lead into the half and the G-Men never trailed.
Eli is 6-3 in the postseason, including two wins at Lambeau Field against Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. He will play in his second NFC Title Game in four years. Has a Super Bowl ring, was a Super Bowl MVP, two-time Pro Bowl selection, has three straight 4,000 yard seasons and nearly had a 5,000 yard season. Never had a losing season as a starting QB, has three NFC East Titles and led the Giants to 5 playoff appearances in his eight seasons. He was already elite in my view...........and is one of the biggest clutch performers in his era.
Has nothing to do with that, just getting tired of these overrated Madden teams like the killing the regular season and losing to what in reality is a better all around team (despite the record) in the playoffs. Dallas in 2007 was another shining example of this Look at the rosters up and down, and I bet you would be more impressed with the Giants roster then the Packers. Why does Green Bay have the better record? Because the NFL's rules are set up now that it is near impossible to stop a QB underneath unless you constantly sit him on his ass
And also let me reiterate. Im not upset the Giants are in the NFCCG Cuz I know being a Boy's fan snitching about this game looks bad But as an appreciator (is that a word) of quality football. Thank you for depantsing another over-hyped Madden Team, and letting the football world no that the ability to throw 7 yard outs doesnt mean you are a dominant championship caliber team. No hate here, hat off to ya
The drops really did hurt Aaron Rodgers in the first half. In the second half he really didn't do anything with his arm. His legs did a lot of the work.
