There was a great episode last night with the final cuts and the meetings with players after being cut. This is easily the best football show on TV. There aren't any talking heads giving their opinions about a QB or defense. Its only players, coaches and personnel guys going about their lives in relation to the team. I would love to see if a team ever allows a camera crew to record an entire season for broadcast as the season goes along. That would be very intriguing television. The preparation, effort, training and nuances that go into all of the aspects of professoinal football are fascinating to me.

I've watched it a couple times...a good watch..they should do one of these for a different team every year...or maybe 2-3 teams a year...

I thought that is what they did Barl? A different team every year?

It has been a different team, but they've not had them every year. The first year they did it was for the Baltimore Ravens the year after they won the Superbowl I believe. The next season they did the Cowboys. A couple years later NFL network ran one for the Jaguars but from what I heard it was slightly different in terms of content compared to the previous HBO ones. Then this years one with KC brought it back to HBO. I may have the years wrong in terms of when it started with Baltimore, but those are all of the teams that have been on it and the order in which they appeared.

I would like to see it be carried out for the entire season if a team and the NFL would allow that type of access. Though injury information that is seen maybe a big sticking point for any team willing to participate. If they ran 2 of these for an entire year on 2 different teams every season, they would get great ratings in my eyes on any cable channel. It being on HBO hopefully will have more freedoms with some of the langauge and possible other situations that could occur.
