Chiefs coach Herm Edwards says hes not throwing in the towel by benching veteran Damon Huard in favor of second-year quarterback Brodie Croyle. If anything, Edwards believes hes throwing caution to the wind because with the younger, more mobile Croyle, the Chiefs plan to expand the playbook beyond what they tried with Huard.
