You can get a Bamboo pen/tablet for about $50.

The one I have lets you use the pen as well as your fingers, it cost about $100.

After the initial learning curve is done you'd be AMAZED at how much Photoshop was made to be used with a pen/tablet.

 

unless you're someone who uses photoshop alot, it seems wasteful

but to each is own.

 

I can see your point, but on the flip side if you have a pen and tablet you might use Photoshop more often.

It certainly changed my experience with it.

Granted I had the luxury of borrowing a buddy's older Wacom before I made the jump, but I'll never look back now that I've gotten mine.

Yep, he said today that he's going to be #29 in honor of an injured college teammate that helped him. Haha, he's also going to buy himself a camaro, he's a chevy guy. He'll fit right in to KC it sounds like. No benz or bmw....he's getting a camaro.
