What? There was a chat box?
We had a chat box on the home page a couple years back called the "Shout Box" and a chat room for monday night games. The main problem with the shout box was that people would tend to discuss the games in there instead of the gameday threads.
What they have at NLS is a modification called "vb Pager" and honestly I suggest they uninstall it. Vbulletin.org has actually pulled the modification because of the security flaws:
The last time anyone posted in the support thread was July 2007.
It's a lot more active than 90% of the other forums.
Bring back the trivia award....lol
and its back now!
wheres the chat box?
top right hand corner of the screen
i dont see it
right under logout
i see it now and when i click on site extras nothing happens
Yes very similiar, however it is directly through the website. You need to have 20 posts to use it. Great feature.
ahhh...then forget about it...
How about a Brett Favre award for the most active member?
Surely that'd be an award for whoring then?
The concept for that award overlaps with the Montana award, which is for activeness and quality.
I think some form of alert for new messages in the ChatBox is an idea, stop people thinking they're being ignored.
How about a new subforum in Other Sports for "Other" for tennis, golf, rugbee, and other?
Those sports above don't need their own subforum, the interest for it just isn't there to warrant it. If people are interested they can just start an official thread like we did for golf and go from there. No need to add more IMO, it'll look too cluttered.
