    ■ When the NFL realigned into eight four-year divisions 2002, it was a foregone conclusion that the original four AFC East and West teams would stay together. So would the Steelers, Browns and Bengals. The big question was whether the Ravens or Colts would be the fourth team in the AFC North. The Ravens got the nod, and the Colts were put into the AFC South with the Jaguars, Texans and Titans. That was a very good move for the Colts.
