David Buehler seemed to have righted himself after bad start to the season by making his last six field goals heading into the Giants game. But then came the first true test in the swirling winds of the New Meadowlands Stadium. Buehler missed a short field goal and had an extra point blocked. He didn’t have a touchback on any of his kickoffs and also kicked one out of bounds. Coach Jason Garrett said the job remains Buehler’s for now. “We missed two short kicks,†Garrett said. “We missed an extra point and we missed a short field goal at the end of the game. The Giants do an outstanding job with their field goal and PAT pressure team. We worked hard on that and we’ll continue to shore up the protection part of it. And then he’s got to make kicks. He’s got to make kicks. He’s made them for us in the past and we believe he’ll make them for us again.†Source: Star-Telegram
