Free agent defensive end Jason Taylor said Wednesday he recently had a discussion with his former team about a possible return. He also said he is willing to wait until after the NFL Draft to let teams such as the Dolphins better assess their needs. ''We talked,'' Taylor said of the Dolphins. "I'm not going to get into what we talked about or the details of it, but we did talk. They know how I feel and what I'd like to do. And I know how they feel and what they'd like to do, what they're looking for.'' The Dolphins have not shut the door on potentially bringing back Taylor to play opposite Joey Porter at outside linebacker, but they first want to see whether they end up drafting an outside linebacker capable of making an immediate impact.
