Harbaugh should do good in the nfl but then again guys like spurrier and davis who were successful college coaches were miserable failures in the pros.

  2. A "career emergency back up at best", according to you, is worth a third round selection....lol

    Thats insane dude.

    OK, college gurus...

Got conflicting reports from media & fans alike.

Thought Harbough had a good chance at this from his resume & what I knew of him being an ex-Bear but also hear he's very possibly going to bring the hi-voltage act, ala Singletary, to the 49ers which of course won't work.

Which is it? Adjustability or the next bullheaded rush by an old school mentality (which doesn't work with today's athletes)?

  5. But I still have a feeling Harbaugh will at least target Johnson considering their history......

  6. Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area calls Johnson a logical trade target for the 49ers:

    Comcast SportsNet Bay Area

Johnson is probably the logical choice considering Harbaugh's history with Johnson. The planets could soon align depending on the cost of compensation.

  7. Johnson would be a fantastic stop-gap option.

  8. Add Albert Breer to the Josh Johnson-to-49ers talks:

And I'll let it be known that I pointed this out here long before that "reader" did.......:icon_wink:

49er fans have been discussing Johnson since Harbaugh was first being talked about.

Maybe Johnson would have a chance to be their full-time starter if they have that much belief in him.
