Kobe Bryant’s 5,127 career playoff points mean he's only 121 points shy of surpassing Shaquille O'Neal's third-place mark (5,248), a record that surely be broken in the 2011 NBA playoffs.Bryant also trails Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (5,762) and Michael Jordan (5,987).Should the Lakers go through seven games in every playoff series this season while Bryant maintains his 25 points per game average average, he would finish with 700 points this season, increasing his total to 5,752.Bryant will likely pass Jordan in next year's playoffs.

I'd expect him to be right up there, considering the amount of playoff series he's played.

I don't know why they use "if he plays seven games in every series" because the odds of the Lakers getting to the finals and playing seven in every series is quite slim.
