Lions Claim Ex-Chiefs DE Brian Johnston Off Waivers

    The Lions have claimed defensive end Brian Johnston off waivers from Kansas City. Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham was the Chiefs' defensive coordinator last year when they drafted Johnston in the seventh round. Johnston played nine games, with three solo tackles and one special teams tackle.
