Lions DT Ndamukong Suh Fined $20,000 For Andy Dalton Hit

Yes sir.. Funny thing is, it was because of that Witten run. lol

 

I honestly don't see how he can be surprised at all that he was gonna get fined even the announcer said he would get a pink slip from the commissioner. After the helmet was off anything else that Suh did was excessive and while i don't agree with all the QB friendly rules that one will always get called by the officials

 

Even if his helmet didn't come off and he still had the ball, that was roughing the passer. That would have been a penalty five years ago.

 

^This....There is a definite fan backlash/overeaction to all the fines being given out. Anyone who said this was NOT a penalty is either dumb or blind.

 

I knew Suh was going to get fined when I first saw this but $20,000 is ridiculus.

 

I love Suh's anger and aggression on the field. Having said that, it's definitely a fineable hit...

 

20,000 is a lot, I would have said 5, maybe 10 tops.

 

I heard yesterday that he's appealing the fine.

 

Agree. $20 is a bit excessive...but then I'd expect nothing less from Goodell.
