Now Memorial Day has past, and the Lions are coming down the stretch in the off-season. Earlier this month, general manager Martin Mayhew said: "There's no finish line in May. We have a lot of work to do in terms of getting the right players and the best players for the opener. ... It could be the middle of training camp until we feel good about our entire roster." The Lions will continue their organized team activities and conditioning program on and off. They will hold a three-day minicamp June 22-24. Then they'll be off until training camp opens July 31.
